With the festive season approaching, the Delhi government has announced revised rules for gatherings. It has announced to relax restrictions on gatherings till November 15, albeit with strict COVID-19 rules in place. As per the reports, there is still a ban on holding Chhath Puja in public places. Referring to this, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) stated that Ramleela and Durga Puja celebrations have now been allowed in the national capital in the upcoming month, but with strict COVID-19 protocols in place; the same have been issued by the government in this regard.
The DDMA also issued a notice, detailing a list of guidelines that will be followed by citizens and authorities who will be involved in the celebrations of upcoming festivals. The DDMA also added that strict action will be taken against those who fail to comply with the COVID-19 guidelines.
