The authorities have further eased travel restrictions, but people travelling from foreign lands will have to be fully vaccinated. The country has also eased travel restrictions for all domestic flights, and travellers no longer need to take pre-departure tests.
Apparently, Coronavirus cases have fallen significantly in Azerbaijan. Therefore the authorities have also removed mask mandates on public transport and indoor settings, which includes shops and health care facilities also.
On Thursday, Azerbaijan recorded only 15 new cases of the virus, which took the total number to 792,320. The information was shared by the country's Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers on COVID-19 prevention and control.
