You will soon be able to fly directly from Bengaluru to Amsterdam

Planning to travel to Europe? Well, you can do so, and you will no longer need to break your journey if you are flying out of Bengaluru. As per the latest reports, the Dutch carrier Air France-KLM has announced that it will be resuming flight services on the Amsterdam to Bengaluru from May 25.
As per the reports, the said route was launched in October 2019, but then it was temporarily suspended amid Covid-19 in 2020.

As per the airline’s statement, it will be operating three flights per week from Bengaluru to Amsterdam, which will offer flyers the option of directly travelling to Amsterdam and access to destinations across the global network via Amsterdam Schiphol.
As per the reports, flight KL880 from Bengaluru will operate from the Kempegowda International Airport on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 0600 hours and reach the destination, next day at 1230 hours (local time). Likewise, from Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, flight number KL879 will leave for Bengaluru at 1400 hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and reach the next destination at 0310 hours.

Further, KLM will be increasing the frequency from Mumbai – Amsterdam daily flights starting from May 23. Plus, Air France and KLM’s combined operations will increase from India to 35 weekly flights by the end of May.

These flights will offer travellers the option to fly from four cities in India, namely, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi, and connect with ease to destinations across the global network. Also, as part of the Air France and KLM’s commercial policy, tickets that were issued on or after March 1, 2022, are 100 percent changeable.
