Locals are elated and are of the view that it’s a nice effort to bring the fountains back in Bengaluru. Reports have it that there used to be a huge fountain near the Majestic bus stand and railway station, which was a big attraction for the people entering the city. Likewise there is a fountain near the Corporation Circle. However, with time, these fountains became redundant as they were left neglected. So while people here are happy to see these fountains being brought back to life, they are of the view that there should be continuous maintenance so that these fountains also don’t meet the same fate.
