Overcome the mighty ripples of Costa Rican rivers – Steep vertical heights, dressed in every shade of blue and green, accessorized with flowers, vines and trees tangling since a thousand years. These well preserved natural beauties will leave your adrenaline oscillating between feeling high and feeling spent. Most of the tour operators who will guide your rafting will give you an option of picking you up from wherever you are parked in the capital San Jose. Mostly, the pickup and drop charges are included in the package. If you want to save on this, the drive from the bus station to Limon is pleasant. Depends on who you chose to go with, but most likely a snack pack, water, some juice or cold drink is included, that is tied on your raft in an icebox. The Class III and IV rapids will get your spirits pumping, leaving you asking for much more. If you are heading to Pacuare, then river rafting will end navigating you through the calm waters of Braulio Carrillo National Park, allowing you to soak all the sun and water that you have overdosed on. This will only be a one-day affair. Besides River Pacuare, you can go river rafting in Rio Sarapiqui and Rio Reventazon.
