A flight between Bathinda and Mumbai will start operating soon and this will allow people of Bathinda and other areas near Haryana and Rajasthan to travel to Hazur Sahib easily. A flight between Bathinda and Mumbai will start operating soon and this will allow people of Bathinda and other areas near Haryana and Rajasthan to travel to Hazur Sahib easily. Union Minister for Food Processing Harsimrat Kaur Badal announced this after flagging off the first Bathinda-Jammu flight from the airport.
The minister also added that with flights connecting places like Delhi, Jammu and other regions, tourism will also get the required boost. He also expressed hope that the number of people travelling to Jammu will definitely increase with the final examinations of children concluding next month, and summer vacations approaching.

A top official associated with the Hotel Association also welcomed the move saying that increase in air connectivity would also add to the income of hotel industry. Calling it a ‘boon,’ he further stated that flight fares would also become budget-friendly in the coming months as flights would start getting more passengers.
Big wigs associated with showbiz also expressed their happiness with regard to the announcement of Bathinda-Mumbai flight. They are of the opinion that with the launch of this new flight, it will become easier for the film cast and crew to travel to this part of the country easily.
