Perfect for collecting souvenirs, the Sukawati Art Market has an array of collectibles at surprisingly low rates. Unlike the Ubud Art market, you'll find a lot of art imitations here and hence the low prices. Fill your bags with local handicrafts, wooden carvings, Kamasan style paintings, signature Bali shirts, aromatherapy items, jelly candles, handmade incense sticks, sarongs, handbags and more. Sukawati is Bali's oldest art market and is much preferred by the locals as well. Ideally, head to Sukawati on your way home to collect gifts by the dozens for family and friends, the cost will definitely not be a deterrent.
