While the majority of the Amazon Rainforest is in Brazil, it also spills over in countries such as Peru and Colombia. You will have to take a short flight from one of Peru’s main cities - Lima or Cusco - to get to the rainforest. The vision of labyrinthine rivers, including the incredible Amazon River, cutting through the rainforest is best observed from the plane. So make sure you opt for a window seat on that journey.
