If you like electronic dance music, Calgary is the best place to be when Chasing Summer hits the city. For two days the grounds at the Max Bell Centre transform into Western Canada’s largest electronic music festival, drawing in thousands from all over the world. This outdoor event features some of the most popular headliners in all of electronic music and runs from 1pm-10pm each day of the festival. Visitors must be over the age of 18 to attend the festival, which promises to be crazy and entertaining. Once on site, festival goers are not allowed to leave and re-enter, which means you best come prepared for the day and bring items such as appropriate outdoor clothing, refillable water bottles, and lots of sunscreen. Past performers include The Chainsmokers, Hardwell, Seven Lions, and Jauz. Performances are spread over four stages, vendors are situated throughout the grounds, as well as free hydration stations. Come prepared to dance and sing in this epic summer music festival.
