Air India sources have revealed that the flights on both the ways had full occupancies.

Scheduled to operate on four days a week on both directions, the flight can now be taken with attractive fares, thanks to Air India’s offer on the resumption of this flight.
The flights between the two cities were started for the first time in May 2015, but then, it was discontinued in June 2016 citing “operational reasons”.
However, at that time, it wasn’t a direct flight. The flight used to operate between Kolkata and Delhi, with a stopover at Durgapur.
With Air India starting its direct flights between Delhi and Durgapur, it will make travelling more convenient for tourists from West Bengal, who are keen to explore the northern part of the country.
