This museum is the hiding place where Anne Frank wrote her diary during the Second World War. There is a set route for the visitors to follow through the house. Even though the house has been renovated to preserve the remnants, the history and events that took place in each part of the house has been explained through a series of audio recordings, available in a handful of languages. One of the most fascinating parts of the museum and the history is a moveable bookcase, which concealed the door to the annex. The Anne Frank Museum is located on a canal called Prinsengracht, close to Central Amsterdam. One can buy the ticket online that allows tourists’ entry from 9 AM to 3:30 PM; those who buy the entry tickets on the spot are allowed entry between 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM
