Located at the entrance of Gatineau Park this is the largest spa in North America and is located only 10 minutes outside of Ottawa. This Nordic spa boats seven outdoor baths, eight saunas and an infinity pool with views of Ottawa and Gatineau Park. The seven outdoor baths range in temperature from 10° celsius to 39° celsius; and they vary depending on weather and season. In addition to the typical Finnish sauna that all Nordic spas tend to have, this one offers many more alternatives including the Barik Sauna―a uniquely shaped tubular dry sauna that creates a special intimate climate. Other saunas include an aromatic sauna where silence is not required and is kept at a lower temperature letting guests stay in longer, a Maa Sauna which is dug halfway into the ground and offers high intense heat and an orange steam sauna; similar to the eucalyptus sauna with a different scent. Offering different nights such as girl’s getaway and foodie Wednesdays; this Spa certainly knows how to puts its mark on the map and will continue to be a hit with visitors for a long time.
