Tehri Lake, one of the most beautiful water bodies in Uttarakhand, will soon be developed into a world-class tourist attraction for sports enthusiasts. The plans to convert this gorgeous place into a water-activity zone were discussed in a meeting, which was attended by Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand, Utpal Kumar Singh. Tehri Lake, one of the most beautiful water bodies in Uttarakhand, will soon be developed into a world-class tourist attraction for sports enthusiasts. The plans to convert this gorgeous place into a water-activity zone were discussed in a meeting, which was attended by Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand, Utpal Kumar Singh.
A senior tourism official present in the meeting said that the presence of a ring road will be helpful for lakhs of people living in the region. Hari Om Sharma, PWD chief engineer informed that the total length of the ring road is 234 km; out of this, 142 km road is single lane and 20 km is being developed under Char Dham all-weather road project.
