Even if you think you’ve seen it all, when it comes to Art-spaces and Collections, there is MONA – Australia’s largest private museum that has a surprise or two in store for you. Carved out of a sandstone cliff, this museum is located within the Moorila winery. It is home to some of the most thought-provoking contemporary art that you’ll have ever seen. Think Wim Delvoye’s Cloaca Professional, a machine that turns food into excrement just a few pixie steps away from remarkable antiquities. But holding the contradictions is not the only thing MONA does remarkably well. There are top-notch wining, dining, and staying options in the property. You could expect to see jewellery modelled on internal organs or handmade corsets.
