A 72-seater plane has been introduced for the passengers from Allahabad Airport or Bamrauli Airport. Apart from Lucknow, it will also take passengers to Patna. Besides, another flight would begin from June 16 from Allahabad to Nagpur, and Indore. Read less

Now passengers will be able to reach Lucknow from Allahabad in just 45 minutes via direct flights that will be operational from June 14, 2018.
A 72-seater plane has been introduced for the passengers from Allahabad Airport or Bamrauli Airport. Apart from Lucknow, it will also take passengers to Patna. Besides, another flight would begin from June 16 from Allahabad to Nagpur, and Indore.
The minister also said better connectivity will also help boost investments in the region. In addition to this, he mentioned that both Centre and the State governments are together trying to get more such flight services connecting the cities.
Under one government scheme, there will be 11 new airports across the state and in coming 15 months including at Azamgarh, Sonbhadra, Bareilly, Aligarh, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Moradabad, Allahabad, and Shravasti.
It is being anticipated that before the beginning of Kumbh 2019, nearly 13 cities such as Gorakhpur, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Mumbai, Bhopal, Raipur ,and Pune will be directly linked to Allahabad via flights.
