A hive of creativity, 2 Danks Street is a working centre for Sydney's emerging artists, photographers and designers, and also hosts regular, expert-led panel discussions on a range of arts-related topics while the New South Wales Art Gallery, spread over four floors of constantly-evolving exhibition space, manages to make its vast collection of classic and contemporary art accessible to all. Artsy folk will like, in particular, the Museum of Contemporary Art which hosts ARTBAR-- an event on the last Friday of each month that flips the gallery experience on its head through art, music, design and performance.
