The list of places to visit in Chicago just got a whole lot more interesting with the opening of the largest rooftop bar in the world. Called Offshore, this all-new Chicago bar is on the third floor of the Navy Pier’s Festival Hall, and has been recognised by the Guinness World Records as the largest rooftop bar in the world. Come to Offshore for unique drinks, views of Lake Michigan, and the chance to experience the largest rooftop bar in the world.
The massive bar can hold up to 1000 people at a time and is more than just a regular bar. Diners here can expect loads of entertainment and games at the entertainment and gaming area, and also it has seven fire pits. There is also cozy outdoor seating arrangement for guests, and a 450 sq ft custom planter. Offshore also has provisions for live performances, as it has a stage and two private lawns.
At Offshore, drinks and food are especially interesting, so it is not just all show. The chef focusses on modern American cuisine with global influences. You can expect classic signature drinks, alongside a range of local craft beer options. Plus, it is probably one of the most Instragrammable places in the city.
