The home of the mighty CanucksWord to the wise: If you didn't manage to purchase hockey tickets in advance, you can always find scalpers at the stadium. Be warned; the legitimacy of these tickets can be dubious.
Talk of the town: The Canadian men's hockey team defeated the USA at Rogers Arena to take gold at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.

If you've never seen a live game of ice hockey, prepare for a spectacle. It's a challenge just to keep your eyes on the puck as it whizzes around at lightning speed, and you can expect at least one episode of fisticuffs to explode during each game - fighting is unofficially sanctioned in North American hockey, as long as players drop their sticks, gloves, and stop fighting when separated. Penalty shootouts also add to the adrenalin.
When the 'nucks aren't playing, Rogers Arena hosts major touring artists, from Metallica to Madonna. Check the webpage for upcoming events.
