The main transit point for the province, the town of Krabi is a beehive of activity and offers a welcome contrast to the pristine beaches around. You’ll be surprised by the sheer number of guest houses that are packed into this small town. Walk around the town, pick up some traditional Thai artefacts from the markets, and pamper yourself with a relaxing massage at Krabi’s rejuvenation centres. Take 15-minute-ride on a longtail boat to Khao Kanab Nam—two limestone cliffs situated next to each other—which are often regarded as the symbol of Krabi.
