The doughnuts can be described in one word - and it's in the title
Talk of the town: Grant once told the 'New York Times' he wanted his doughnuts to be good enough to be a last meal on death row. The motto? 'Eat one that's worth it.'
It's no-nonsense and bare bones, but pastry-chef Grant has found a niche. A signature delight is the A-Town cream, a take on a Boston cream in the shape of an 'A' for Atlanta, and another two highlights are the fresh strawberry 'n' cream and the orange dream star, which is subtly orangey but mostly tangy, yeasty, and creamy.
