PilaniSurangarh is chiefly famous for a fort built in 1778, which has since been converted into a palatial heritage hotel. Surajgarh literally translates to ‘Castle of the Sun’ in English. It is located around 40 km away from Jhunjhunu.

Chief attractions of Surajgarh are Khetan Haveli, two Havelis of Kaya brothers although they may be closed c. Havelis at the village of Kajra.

Chirawa
Located only 10 km away from Surajgarh, the place has fine 5-6 havelis with unique paintings and some wells, two of them with beautiful chhatris.
