Singapore is an island and there are no less than six major beaches which its residents flock to every weekend. Out of these, Changi Beach, located on the north-eastern tip of the main island is an ideal spot for taking a dip (or a long walk), and even camping overnight on the long stretch of sand with a barbeque simmering under a starlit sky. Changi Beach is also popular for water sports. Sprawling across 28 hectares, the beach park here is one of the oldest coastal parks in the island country. And unlike the beaches at Sentosa Island, there’s no entrance fee to access Changi Beach.
