As per the officials, since the festival drew a lot of tourists from around the state and was a huge success the last time it was held, it will be celebrated in a much better and bigger manner this time. Reportedly, Meghalaya Tourism Development Forum (MTDF) had been hosting this festival since 2006, which continued till 2012 after which it was discontinued. However, the festival was revived again last year.
Latest reports suggest that the two-day event will feature Mumbai-based rock band, an international DJ from the United States, including local bands too. The other highlights of the event will be water sports, magic show, kid’s play area, food stalls, camping facilities, and much more.
