This 2-km long beach is among the best places to see as the pristine azure tones of the ocean is certain to have a calming effect on your soul. The sea is not very rough but make sure that you do not venture into the sea after 5:00 pm as tides can get really high. If you want to indulge in shopping, stop by at one of the sea shell marts (yes that is what the large shops are called here). Being on the seashore the variety of shells you can pick up here are mind boggling. You can also buy jewellery made of shells and home accessories like curtains and wall hangings made from shells. You can also shop at local markets; silk sarees are quite famous here.
