Plantation is an oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of the inner city of Phnom Penh. Just as the name suggests, the French Colonial style hotel offers a lush paradise of peace and tranquillity in the centre of the city. The hotel itself is close to many of Phnom Penh’s tourist attractions and cultural hotspots. The Royal Palace is just around the corner and the Central Market along with many other local fresh food markets are just a short walk away.

The rooms are well priced and available in varied options, including basic single or double suite and deluxe rooftop suite. Please note though that the price may vary a lot due to high/low season so keep a close eye on specials! All the rooms feature an array of modern facilities for the comfort of guests. Rooms are located in a variety of positions around the hotel, and the terrace of some of the rooms overlooks the pool or the lush tropical garden. The entrance building alone holds a reception as well as a gallery space, bar, pool and restaurant. There is also an amazing gift shop with many local artists’ creations such as jewellery, clothing and housewares. The highlight though is the main pool. Surrounded by private cabanas, palm trees and banana lounges, the pool is the perfect place to sit back, relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing.
