Located in the heart of the Old Town in Bern, a few steps away from the Clock Tower, Compass is an unassuming yet welcoming bar that serves innovative cocktails and great beer. Names on the ever-changing menu include concoctions like pumpkin chai martini, the hot buttered kraken, dark and the stormy, a hibiscus infused cocktail, Creme Brûlée Martini and even a liquid chocolate cake for that matter. Names on the ever-changing menu include concoctions like pumpkin chai martini, the hot buttered kraken, dark and the stormy, a hibiscus infused cocktail, Creme Brûlée Martini and even a liquid chocolate cake for that matter. They also have homemade mulled wine to keep you warm during the winter months. The bartender is amicable and is an expert at the art of mixology, so do take his recommendations into account. Patrick, the owner, is one of the nicest hosts you will meet in the city.
