At Route 66, make way for snazzy interiors, mega-decibel sound systems, dazzling lighting and digitized animation screens. One of the biggest clubs located on Royal City Avenue in Bangkok, Route 66 is divided into three sections. The two largest rooms play hip-hop and R&B while the third room plays trance or hosts the occasional live Thai rock band. The doors to this club open up to sleek white interiors while animation and other visuals add drama to its walls and ceilings. Most of the dance floor is taken up by tall tables and no matter where you lay your hat in this sprawling club, the sound of mainstream R&B and hip-hop is inescapable. The nightclub is open seven nights a week and trying to move across the dance floor on the weekends gets pretty crazy with hundreds of people squeezed into the club.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
