Everyone planning to travel from the UAE to Mumbai anytime soon should be aware of this special guideline issued by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai; it has been implemented to facilitate the travel of international travellers amid COVID pandemic.
As reported earlier, the standard operating procedures state that on arrival RT-PCR test and 7 days home quarantine was made mandatory for passengers. However, as per the latest travel guidelines now, no such SOPs will be applicable for travellers coming from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), including Dubai.
As per the latest reports, the latest directions will come into effect from midnight of January 17, 2022.
Therefore, guidelines that are applicable to international travellers who are arriving from 'countries other than countries at-risk' will now also be applicable to travellers who are arriving from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) including Dubai.
