Located near the post office in Shantiniketan, Subarnarekha is every bibliophile’s delight. The obvious finds are works of Tagore in Bengali, as well as translated into Hindi and English. The not so obvious collection includes rare books on the creation of East Pakistan (current day Bangladesh) in 1947, and its aftermath.Most books, new as well as second hand, are available at a nominal rate.
