Yet another interesting place to visit in Jabalpur, the Rani Durgavati Museum is one of the most attractive Jabalpur tourist places that has much to teach to curious visitors. Dedicated to the memory of Queen Durgavati who bravely fought the Mughals and died, the museum holds a collection of sculptures, inscriptions, and relics from the prehistoric times. The museum is located in the heart of the city and costs very little for a visit. There are numerous ancient statues, and other art forms inside the museum. At Kala – Vithika, the exhibition hall for artists, you will find numerous art forms and paintings, a must-visit for those interested in art and culture. It is closed on Sundays, so you have to plan your visit on a weekday. The museum does not allow photography or videography and so you should not try to take snaps or record videos within its premises.
