Synopsis
Rivaling only the Taj Palace for top-end decadence, the Four Seasons Mumbai is quite the showstopper. Opened in 2008, it's among the newest of Mumbai's five-star sleeps, and no luxury was speared in its construction.

A bastion of modern luxury
Tipple of choice: While you'll pay much less for a glass of pineapple nectar on the street, the in-house juice bar is a lovely novelty.
Located in the up-and-coming Worli district, the hotel's 202 contemporary, neutral-toned rooms and suites have floor-to-ceiling windows offering spectacular views across Mumbai and the Arabian Sea. That said, the vista from Aer Bar, occupying the entire 34th floor rooftop is utterly unbeatable - stop by during sunset happy hour from 5.30pm - 8pm daily.
A smattering of luxe Eur-Asian restaurants, a full gym, glorious outdoor pool and enormous day spa all add to the prestige, while the complimentary yoga and meditation classes are a welcome local touch.
