Villa 47 is pretty no-frills. It is, after all, a B&B. But it does have two impeccably kept rooms with attached bathrooms, and two incredibly welcoming owners. Ancy and Thomas have lived in Dubai for nearly 30 years, and they know the city cold.
The B&B is in the not-so-happening neighbourhood of Garhoud. It is a five minute drive from the airport, though, and virtually no distance from Deira and Bur Dubai. It also offers some of the best priced rooms for around AED 350 a night, including breakfast and afternoon tea.
