Built (quite literally) on the top of a rock by the riverside, this homestay is more of a welcome surprise. A mid-budget stay option, it is run by a friendly family that welcomes visitors with freshly-brewed cardamom tea! If that sounds inviting enough, you will have more reasons to fall for it—spacious, well-lit rooms with huge (yes!) washrooms and private balconies that overlook a wildly-flowing river. All this in the middle of a spice plantation, with cardamom and coffee fragrances wafting in. It is some 10 km away from the town centre, quite perfect for anyone looking for some quiet time or an easy-on-pocket romantic getaway. Add to it the charm of home-cooked South Indian meals, served in the family kitchen that is open to everyone in the house and you will be in for a charming experience.Refrain from posting comments that are obscene, defamatory or inflammatory, and do not indulge in personal attacks, name calling or inciting hatred against any community.
