This one is more like a treasure trove for backpackers, for it offers yoga lessons, three meals a day and modest stay facilities at astoundingly low tariffs. Perfect for yogis in the city, the ashram has a number of rooms (all with attached washrooms) to choose from. Quite close to the Ram Jhula, it is centrally-located yet away from the city din. Organic, sattvic food and hatha yoga sessions are the biggest pull of this place. More like a retreat, this ashram is great for anyone interested in spirituality as daily discourses are also held here. You can also partake in the daily evening arti that is held by River Ganga by the ashram residents and staff. Unlike other backpacker stay facilities, entry is not allowed in the premises after 10 pm. Make sure you reserve rooms well in advance, for the place runs full all through the year.
