This is a beautiful hotel available for a mid-range price point and guests that stay here will find some of the most stylish and comfortable rooms in Glasgow. The building was once a home to the first-born Scottish prime minister and they have retained a lot of the original decorations including the stained glass windows and wooden handrails. There are four different levels of rooms ranging from your basic room with complimentary toiletries, and bath and shower to suites that feature separate sitting areas, a desk and plenty of space. The location is hard to beat, right in the centre of the city and just some mere steps from shops, attractions and restaurants. Breakfast is included here and is a full Scottish style breakfast that makes starting your day that much more enjoyable. The on-site restaurant is known for its excellent food and cocktails and is open every day of the week for you to enjoy.
