Developed by Saffronstays, Nossa Bela Cassa is every bit romantic. With lush gardens, and serenity abound, you would not want to leave this place. The house that was home to TB Cunha, also known as father of Goa Liberation Struggle, is now a six-suite boutique hotel. The hotel has been intricately designed, with an eye for detail, while also keeping in toe with its authentic spirit. The vintage look of the hotel starts right from the entrance, and as you are led to the ballroom, you will be captivated by its tall French windows and Belgian glass-chandeliers.
The suites are large with modern amenities for the discerning traveller. You have the balconies done in Baroque style carvings, overlooking the lawns and further into the paddy fields. The property also has two chapels, one of them housing Mother Mary that was imported from France. The chapel dates back to nearly 250 years, and gets a lot of sunlight inside it through the tall windows that are fixed on both sides. You can also take part in certain leisure activities here – a swimming pool, a badminton court, and hammock on the laws, among other things. Of course, your trip wouldn’t be complete without you trying the prawn biryani here.

Apart from this mesmerising property, the quiet little village of Cuelim is quite a beautiful place for a stay. The village has its own beach, and is all the more beautiful during the monsoon season.
