Former convent turns luxury hotel with enchanting gardens
Word to the wise: There isn't much between the standard and superior rooms to justify the price difference. If you want extra space go for the luxurious 30sqm junior suites.

This was once a 15th century convent, though the nuns most likely did not have the benefit of jacuzzi baths, flatscreen TVs and the stunning modern decor that each of the 72 rooms here boasts. Some have views onto the beautiful gardens, full of orange, lemon and palm trees, while others look directly over the Roman Forum.
Located to the south, it's a short walk to sights such as the Colosseum and Palatine Hill, as well as lesser-visited points of interest such as the 7th century church of San Giorgio al Velabro or the farmers' market by Circus Maximus.

The breakfast is very good, and if for some reason you don't want to dine out, you can take dinner in the enchanting gardens.
