The idyllic natural surroundings and Dal Lake in the distant horizons make for a perfect home stay. This heritage cottage is the venue for Dara Shikoh Festival of the Arts every year. Almond Villa hosts Farmer’s Markets every summer and is a favourite of locals as well as tourists. Almond Villa is well known for its great hospitality and simple food, which is prepared mostly from organic home grown produce. It is advisable to book in advance as it has a very limited number of rooms. The tranquil surroundings and the jungle right behind the orchards offer great trekking and birdwatching opportunities.
