Located on Maryland Street of Winnipeg, Backpackers Winnipeg Guest House International is a place for the free spirited and free willed. A restored Victorian mansion owned by an individual named Bill Macdonald, this place is no less than a meeting point for casual travellers and backpackers. At the same time, Backpackers Winnipeg Guest House International is also a favourite resting place among travel journalists, travel writers and travel photographers. To its credit, this cosy guest house has so far hosted thousands of international travellers, non-profit groups, school groups and a few celebrated individuals like famous American civil rights activist James Meredith! Spread in three levels, this place offers laundry room, game room, front desk, common room and kitchen. The second floor also houses a female dormitory for solo female guests.
