Cicciolina

This popular restaurant in Cusco came into being when four friends decided to open a place where people could just sit over a couple of drinks and a plate of tapas and indulge in conversation. Even eight years later, that is the nature of this restaurant. You can hear people talking in different languages at night, either in the bar or in the candle-lit environs of the restaurant.
Cicciolina is located centrally; just a few yards from the Plaza de Arms that is quite literally the centre of the city and the focal point of all action. It is on the second floor of an old Colonial house along with other shops, emporiums, and pizzerias. The atmosphere of this place is warm and friendly—it almost coaxes guests into conversations and share whatever they can. This creates an inclusive environment and makes guests feel almost like family. The informal surroundings at Cicciolina make it easier for everyone to feel at home and enjoy their meal or drinks and tapas.

The owners say that they are very choosy about the products they use in their cooking. Fresh, locally produced ingredients go into making their dishes.
