Located at the corner of St. Louis and Chartres Streets, Napolean House is a vintage bar and restaurant. However, it doesn’t look like much from the outside and has peeling plaster and a run-down look. But inside the house, it is utterly captivating. The old world charm is laid out in oodles. The furniture is all old school, bare and simple. The walls are filled with photographs and graffiti scribbled by people who have visited. But in one corner is a little arched nook with a tiny table in which only two people can adjust. This apparently was the favourite place of Tennessee Williams, who regularly frequented the place, perhaps for soaking up the delicious Pimms Cup that Napoleon House is famous for.
