As the one of the lower-priced Indian restaurant in Madrid, Indian Aroma retains its position in the league of one of the incredibly authentic Indian restaurants, too. Indian Aroma is a stylish, high-end, fine dining restaurant known for its authentic Indian preparations. It is a bit different than the other restaurants on our list in that it has embraced a bit of Spanish food culture and offers a ‘Menu del Dia’, a set of dishes with different options and all served for a certain price. The price range is between 30 to 50 Euros, but the quantity and quality of food is enough for you to leave happy and content. Standouts include chicken tikka masala, lamb korma, rice, garlic naan, vegetable samosa, aloo tikki and the cold drinks. The food has been modified to suit the Spanish/Western palate; hence, expect less of spice (typical in most Indian dishes). The service is smooth and speaks good English. A word of caution for habitual impromptu diners – please book a table in advance during peak hours, or be prepared to wait for your turn.
