In a quiet corner of the Hauptstrasse area in Interlaken, there resides a restaurant that specialises in South Indian delicacies. The lifesize cutout of female figures in Indian dance poses will welcome you to the cosy interior of the restaurant. Not a sprawling campus of long tables and fancy chairs, Shanthi however does not lag behind in offering a comfortable and homelike atmosphere with clean and simple seating arrangements in beautiful wooden furniture. Enjoy authentic South Indian dishes such as dosas (many variety available), idlis, okra curry, cauliflower curry and other delicacies. Apart from regular menu, one can also enjoy special buffet with a varied selection of Indian and Sri Lankan delicacies on Saturdays.
