Locavore is one of the best restaurants in Bali, especially good if you are in a mood to splurge. It is so popular, thus recommended to book well in advance. It serves European-style dishes, using strictly local ingredients. There are meat and fish dishes as well as vegetarian dishes, and the menu changes every month to reflect the variation in the season and in the available ingredients. There’s no a la carte menu but you have a choice between set menus of five or seven courses that come with accompanied drinks. Both the food (including the desserts) and the drinks are delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed yet sophisticated, the setting gorgeous and the interior cozy. Staff is incredibly professional and always ready to tend to customers. The prices are much higher than local average, but with the fantastic food and service on offer, it is perfectly understandable. Definitely worth the money.
