Mian

This is yet another must-visit eatery for the noodle lovers. In fact, this small restaurant serves so much of noodles that it is often referred to as the Noodles Bar by the locals. With wooden tables and a big glass window at place, the interiors of this restaurant will give you a very communal feel. Besides, the sitting arrangement is such that you might have to share tables with strangers, which only adds to the atmosphere of this place. Mian is a good place for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, especially because the meat served here has been known for its good quality, while the vegetables are always fresh. For the non-vegetarians, the most recommended dish is the diced eggplant and pork noodles with egg (qiezi rouding banmian), and for vegetarians, the stir-fried baby cucumber (a non-noodle dish) is a must-have.
