Al Prosecco is set in one of the loveliest campos (squares) in Venice, and is really popular for its excellent prosecco and huge mixed platters of cheeses, antipasti, olives, prosciutto and bread made by local artisanal producers. There is a huge choice of wines, both local and from all over Italy. They also specialise in wine made using organic and natural processes so make sure to try the cloudy prosecco. The staff is also really friendly and super knowledgeable, and can explain to you the daily specials and how the wine is made. You can enjoy the food and wine sitting outside in the pretty campo and watch the world go by, and there are also a few tables inside in a cosy and intimate backroom if the weather isn’t so good.
