For an upmarket European meal, there’s no better place than Sage Bistro. The fine-dining restaurant is located in a suburb by the name of Bistritsa, 16 km away from Sofia. While there is no denying that it takes a bit of effort to get here as the restaurant isn’t centrally located, but it’s completely worth visiting. Twin brothers who have a background in hospitality and have worked in several countries founded Sage Bistro. This is quite evident in the way the restaurant delivers an excellent culinary experience fuelled by great food, an amazing selection of wine and gorgeous views of Vitosha mountain. The outdoor patio is absolutely perfect during summer days whereas the cosy interiors are ideal for winter evenings.
