Named after its Sicilian owner and chef Dario Dezio, this is one of Pune’s most popular restaurants. Situated near the Osho Ashram Koregaon Park, it is especially popular with expats and foreign visitors. The setting is romantic—with a courtyard and a beautiful garden outside, and an Art Deco style bar, old-world teak furniture and antiques inside. It’s famous for its authentic, home-style vegetarian Italian cooking—think fresh breads, wood-fired pizzas, pastas, antipasti and salads. Star dishes include the vegetarian lasagne, tomato and cheese tart, tortellini with spinach and ricotta, chocolate crepes and the tiramisu. These are complemented by a selection of wines, milkshakes and fresh juices.
