Geek chic is the vibe at Gazi College Eatery. Books adorn the walls stacked from floor to ceiling, the menu is scribbled on a giant blackboard and illuminated globes sit on the shelves as light fittings. It attracts a young, too-cool-for-school crowd, without being exclusive or pretentious.

The salads and sandwiches are all good value and made with fresh ingredients. On the weekends, it serves food all night transforming seamlessly into a bar. But come for breakfast on a Saturday morning to see the last Gazi party-goers stagger home.
