For a traditional Bulgarian experience look no further than Hadjidraganov's Cellars. The restaurant resembles an old wine cellar and offers a host of local delicacies with live folk music. Wooden barrels and Bulgarian artefacts line the walls, adding to the experience. Admittedly, Hadjidraganov's Cellars panders to tourists and service can be a bit hit and miss. But having said that, it offers first-time visitors to Sofia a great opportunity to acquaint themselves with the cuisine and culture of Bulgaria and that can only be a good thing.
